Designed by our very own Alex John. Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, an early champion of the Falls' surroundings, began advocating for their preservation by Frederick Law Olmsted and others formed the Niagara Falls Association in 1883, a group that aimed to lobby New York to acquire and protect the falls from private exploitation. Niagara Falls State Park is the oldest state park in the U.S. Established in 1885 as the Niagara Reservation, it was signed into law by then-governor Grover Cleveland, that lead eventually to become the cornerstones to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.   ***Made of a minimum of 2-6 layers of hand laid paper images of 40 individual pieces   Under glass, this piece is set on a waterfall designed matte with a Bald Eagle soaring between the US and Canadian flags and a black frame, making it a stand-out piece for any room
